The Base

The Base

Modulo Base securely holds four Modulos and connects them together. Bases can be daisy chained use extension cables, when more than four Modules are needed for larger projects.

The Particle Base

The Particle Base

Modulo Particle Base holds and connects up to four Modulos, plus a Particle device. This lets you use a Photon, Core, or Electron Development Board instead of the Modulo Controller. In true Modulo fashion, there's still no wiring or soldering required. (Particle Photon/Core/Electron not included).

The Controller

The Controller

Modulo Controller is a powerful Arduino-compatible, 48Mhz Arm processor on a Modulo Module. For stand-alone projects, The Controller can be programmed using the Arduino app. It can also act as a USB bridge, allowing you to control Modulos over USB with the Modulo Python library. The controller also has six I/O ports that can be used as digital inputs, digital outputs, or analog inputs. Each port has its own power and ground pins to help keep wiring tidy. Circuitry on the controller protects it from damage if you hook something up wrong. Four of the six ports can also be used to control servos or output a PWM signal.

The Display

The Display

Modulo Display
is a clear, crisp, color OLED Module, ideal for presenting information at a glance. Displaying text, graphs, and gauges has never been easier. Three buttons below the display are provided for navigating on screen interfaces.

Modulo Display has its own speedy Arm processor that handles all the drawing operations, freeing up your computer or microcontroller for other tasks.

The Knob

The Knob

Modulo Knob precisely reports how far it has been turned it in either direction. It also has a built-in RGB LED and push button, so you can set its color and sense when it's pressed.

The Motor Driver

The Motor Driver

Modulo Motor Driver can power two DC motors, one stepper motor, or four single-ended devices, such as solenoids. The Motor Driver also includes advanced features, such as Advanced Microstepping, Digital Corrent Limit, and Fault Detection.

A jumper makes it easy to switch between the 5V power supply from the base and an external power supply of up to 18V! It can deliver peak currents of up to 4A total and continuous current of 1A to 2A (depending on voltage and ambient temperature).

The Joystick

The Joystick

Modulo Joystick is a thumb controller, ideal for building your own game controller or for navigating a robot. Like the knob, it can also detect when it's pressed.

The IR Transceiver

The IR Transceiver

Modulo IR Transceiver sends and receives Infrared signals, much like a TV and remote control. The IR Transceiver can be used to control your Modulo project from across the room, or for your Modulo project to control almost any device that has an IR remote.

The Blank Slate

The Blank Slate

Modulo Blank Slate is a DIY Module, featuring a perf board area where you can solder up your own circuit. The Blank Slate also provides eight I/O pins which can be used as digital inputs, digital outputs, analog inputs, or PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) outputs. Like any other Modulo, the Blank Slate connects to the Modulo bus so your controller can communicate with it directly.
